  • Additional Aspects of Our 2024 Membership Campaign

    • All new Golf and Social Memberships available at Timberlake are equity-based. This means you become a part owner of the club, not just a member. Advantages to being a part owner include: 
        * Allows members to “Invest and Enjoy a Country Club Lifestyle”
        * You may transfer your membership, with a small fee, to new owner through your negotiation when you sell your house, allowing the new owner to avoid being placed on the waitlist when membership reaches its maximum limit
        * TCC may by back your equity if TCC finances have an adequate operating balance and a waiting list for membership
       * If TCC is purchased, equity part-owners will receive a prorated balance of net proceeds from sale

    • General Manager

      Job Description

      The General Manager has responsibility for all day-to-day operations of Timberlake Country Club (TCC), located in Chapin, SC with the only golf course on Lake Murray. TCC was just rated as the #4 Most Improved Golf Course nationally by GolfPass.com. The GM shall direct and administer all aspects of the operations to include amenities, staff, programs, and activities to ensure outstanding service for members and guests.  They must be a thought-partner for the board, recognizing the importance of keeping TCC on the cutting edge of Country Club excellence by having a keen understanding of current and future trends, demographics, legislative, economic, and social issues.  He/she should be decisive and set aggressive goals and objective to ensure the club’s current and future success.

      • Cultural development through good hiring, training, communication, and fostering a strong team work ethic.
      • Strong understanding of superb dining attributes and other food and beverage experiences for the club members and guests.
      • Effective financial management skills through oversight of annual operating and capital budgets.
      • Process-driven leadership qualities demonstrated by setting standards of performance and execution, and ensuring that they are consistently maintained.


      Candidate Qualifications

      • A minimum of 3+ years of verifiable leadership and management experience in an active first-class hospitality environment.
      • Strong general leadership skills with verifiable strengths in team development, financial performance, diverse recreational amenity management (golf, tennis, pickle ball, family activities, etc.), quality food and beverage programming, exceptional member/guest service programming, strategic planning, project management and most importantly the ability to consistently define and achieve goals and objectives.
